Waxwing Wildlife Productions Limited was established in 2006 by Directors John Murphy and Stan Nugent. We regularly supply bespoke specialist footage along with complete programmes to the televisual and film industry covering a wide range of the biodiversity and wildlife subjects to be found throughout Europe and Africa.
is one of the country's foremost ornithologists and is a licensed bird ringer. He has always had an interest in wildlife photography and his work has been published in many magazines and books. As an 'Heritage in the Schools Specialist', he has travelled the country lecturing in schools and colleges, and to various clubs and organisations.Before John turned his attention full-time to producing nature documentaries, he was the Biodiversity Officer with Clare County Council. He spends as much time in the field as possible, observing the wide range of biodiversity that Ireland has to offer.
has studied manufacturing technology to diploma and HND level and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years. In 2002 he graduated from the Open University with a BSc. (Hons.) in Environmental Studies. He is one of the country's newest and most enthusiastic wildlife film makers.
